Heated Rivalry is coming to theaters in November 2026, with season one divided into three screenings of two episodes each. Regal announced a November 6–30 run and a $9.99 price per screening at participating Regal locations. Canadian audiences have a separate option: Cineplex lists a full-season marathon for November 8.
The practical distinction is the ticket format. A paired-episode booking covers two episodes; the Cineplex marathon listing covers all six. Check the event name and your local theater’s schedule before paying, especially if you want to watch the entire season in one visit.
Heated Rivalry in theaters: which episodes are showing?
ABC News reported on October 22 that the six episodes will be offered in these combinations:
| Screening | Episodes included |
|---|---|
| Episodes 1 and 2 | “Rookies” and “Olympians” |
| Episodes 3 and 4 | “Hunter” and “Rose” |
| Episodes 5 and 6 | “I’ll Believe in Anything” and “The Cottage” |
This is a theatrical presentation of the existing first season. It does not mean season two is opening in cinemas in November. ABC’s report describes the event as a chance to revisit the story before the second season arrives in 2027.
The series, created by Jacob Tierney from Rachel Reid’s books, centers on rival hockey players Shane Hollander, played by Hudson Williams, and Ilya Rozanov, played by Connor Storrie. Viewers joining the story for the first time should choose the opening pair before booking the later installments.
Regal dates, prices and the theater-count distinction
In its October 22 announcement, Regal said the release would reach more than 650 theaters overall, including more than 275 Regal locations. Regal is distributing the event to AMC, Cinemark and other participating exhibitors as well as its own cinemas.
Those numbers describe different groups of venues. They should not be read as competing estimates of Regal’s participation. Nor does the overall release window establish that every location will show every pair on every date through November 30.
Regal’s announced price is $9.99 per paired screening. Three bookings at that price would total $29.97 for the six episodes, calculated as $9.99 × 3. That is a comparison of the advertised screening prices, not a checked-out ticket quote; use the theater’s final booking total for your actual purchase.
Regal says tickets are available through its website, mobile app, box offices and kiosks. Start with its official event page, then select your location and the specific episode pair.
Canada: Cineplex lists a full-season marathon
The official Cineplex marathon listing displays November 8, 2026 and a runtime of five hours and 22 minutes. Its description names all six episodes and says the program includes intermissions.
There is a small date ambiguity worth checking locally: the page’s release date is November 8, while its description says the special event begins November 6. Choose an actual theater and showtime rather than treating either line as a guarantee of a screening near you.
Cineplex also explicitly says CineClub monthly member tickets and everyday member-priced tickets are not eligible for this event. The Regal $9.99 announcement should not be treated as the Canadian marathon’s price. These are separate listings with separate booking terms.
What to check before booking
- Episode coverage: confirm whether the ticket is for one pair or the marathon.
- Timing: if booking three pairs, compare start and finish times before assuming they fit into one day.
- Location: select your cinema before relying on the broad November release window.
- Final cost: check the checkout total and any membership restrictions for that exact event.
Boxoffice Pro’s October 23 coverage also reports welcome content from the cast and directors at Regal screenings, plus themed cocktails at participating locations. Those extras are location-dependent; they do not establish that cast members will attend your showing.
