X is testing an invitation-only Video Kickstart Bonus for creators posting original vertical videos. The central requirement is two-part: 15 qualifying videos on 15 different days during the program period. The widely reported $3,000 offer is not a universal payment available to anyone who uploads clips.
Net Influencer reported the pilot on October 16, 2026, citing X creator-product executive Allegra Jacchia’s announcement and an in-app offer. X has also published a dedicated help page explaining how invitations, posting days and review work.

What does the $3,000 figure actually mean?
The American Bazaar’s October 16 coverage describes a Creator Studio image showing a $3,000 offer without view or engagement targets. But X’s help page says the amount depends on the creator’s follower range across platforms and appears in the individual invitation.
There is an additional caution in X’s promotional terms: rewards are discretionary, not guaranteed income. An invitation alone is not a promise of payment. Creators should read the offer and governing terms together rather than budget around a headline amount.
Check the invitation before planning uploads
The pilot appears in Creator Studio for selected accounts. Enrollment must happen before the applicable deadline, and only subsequent uploads count. X uses Pacific Time for posting days and deadlines—not the creator’s local calendar.
Reporting on the initial pilot gives October 30 as the enrollment cutoff. Check the date in your own invitation, since X’s documentation describes program-specific periods rather than one permanent deadline.
A practical planning mistake would be to edit 15 clips and upload them in one batch. That produces only one posting day. A calendar with a separate slot for each qualifying day is more useful than a simple file count.
Which videos qualify?
X specifies original 9:16 videos shorter than three minutes. Creators may reuse their own material from other platforms, but not versions bearing another platform’s watermark. Duplicate clips, sponsored posts and other people’s videos do not qualify.
This makes the clean original export important: having permission to post a video and meeting this particular bonus’s requirements are separate questions. Keep the source file rather than relying on a watermarked download.
A progress tracker is not a final payout
Videos must remain public through the period’s end, and X reviews eligibility afterward. Its help page warns that tracker updates can take 48 hours and that displayed progress can change after review.
The legal terms also require completed payout onboarding and distinguish this bonus from Original Content Rewards. Participation in one program does not automatically establish entitlement to another program’s payments.
For comparison with a separate platform’s eligibility rules, see our YouTube monetization requirements guide. Neither program should be treated as a general promise of income from posting more often.
