MAGA fan reveals why he drove ‘1200 miles’ to U.S Army parade on Trump’s birthday
In anticipation of the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary parade this Saturday, MAGA faithful like Shah Mahdi have journeyed over a thousand miles to Washington, D. C. for the festivities. Coinciding with the parade is Donald Trump’s 79th birthday, which he insists is not the focus of the day’s celebrations, even though Paratroopers plan to present him with a flag as a gift. Supporters from across the nation are expected to gather in honor of both President Trump and the U.S. Army, exemplified by 40-year-old Mahdi who made the trip from Wisconsin.

Speaking to the Irish Star, Mahdi shared that he drove “1,200 miles” to the capital, motivated by his gratitude towards the military for keeping his son safe at night,
reported the Irish Star.
“Today my son is sleeping in the night peacefully because of the army, because of the navy, because of the air force, because of the marines, because these people are sacrificing their lives,” hestated. “They are helping us, they are giving their life, they are doing everything to save our country, why don’t I come to celebrate their birthday, which is 250,” he continued. Sporting a Make America Great Again hat, Mahdi also expressed his belief that Trump was victorious in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 elections. “He is a real president, he is a president who won three elections consecutively, 2016, 2020, and 2024- AMEN,” he proclaimed, brandishing a banner that read “Happy Birthday President Trump”.
“He’s a businessman, he’s a billionaire, he’s a celebrity,” he concluded. During a rehearsal for Saturday’s show by the U. S Army, Mahdi joined in to sing the national anthem, removing his hat, saluting, and passionately singing the lyrics. In addition to carrying a banner that read “Happy Birthday President Trump”, he also held a flag proclaiming “Proud To Be American” and referred to Tien Tran, an 58-year-old dentist from Orange County, California, as his “friend”. Tran, like Mahdi, is an avid supporter of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement. Speaking to the Irish Star, Tran expressed that one of the reasons he strongly supports Donald Trump is due to the immigration policies implemented during Trump’s administration. He claimed that the protesters in Los Angeles were “paid by Newsom” to be there, suggesting that if they are so fond of Mexico, they should simply “go back”.
“Those individuals, whom they label as agitators, were paid by Newsom to be out there with a Mexican flag. If they are American, then show me the American flag,” Tran stated. “If you have such a deep love for Mexico, constantly display the Mexican flag, and advocate for Mexicans, then return to Mexico,” he added.
